Adult Outplanting - Clatskanie River and Big Creek Recovery Populations
- Adult Chum Salmon collected at Big Creek Hatcherywere loaded into a holding tank in the bed of a pickup truck. (Photos 1. & 2.)
- The tank was supplied with cold, oxygenated water for transport to the designated outplant stream. (Photo 3.)
- Prior to release, fish were measured, bio-sampled, and two Floy tags were applied near the base of the dorsal fin. (Photo 4.)
- After release, surveys were conducted to count redds and live fish, monitor spawning activity, and evaluate carcass longevity.
